The Poly-Air™ odor control filter is an activated carbon vent stack filter that can be used in plumbing vents to remove offensive odors, such as Hydrogen Sulfide. Odors can be caused from sewer or septic system gases that vent from a residential home or commercial business. As the gases and odors come out of the roof vent stack, this carbon filter eliminates these unpleasant odors.
The Poly-Air™ odor control filtration system is made with Activated Carbon and is made to fit your existing stack pipe. These vent stack filters can be used with sewer or septic plumbing discharge. The standard size odor control vent cover will fit 4” and 3” vents. The Poly-Air™ odor filter will also fit 2” and 1.5” vents when used with the optional vent reducer.
Septic tank odors can pose a problem for some homeowners. Odors can release from the roof plumbing vent as the pressures change in the plumbing vent pipe. The activated carbon filter will absorb the offensive gases as they release out the vent stack, eliminating the septic odor problem. The activated carbon works the same to remove odors from properties with sewer connections.
The Poly-Air™ odor is an excellent inexpensive solution to eliminate waste odors that escape through household or commercial vent pipes. Our carbon vent filter is your answer to eliminate septic odors or sewer odors. Easy to install on existing vent pipes. Never experience unpleasant odors from your house, commercial, or portable toilet vents again.
Note: If filter unit is used returns will not be accepted.
FAQ's - POLY-AIR ACTIVATED CARBON SEWER & SEPTIC VENT FILTER
What is the expected life of the activated carbon sewer vent stack filter?
The activated charcoal can only absorb so much hydrogen sulfide, the gas that causes the "rotten egg" smell. Once the activated carbon has reached capacity then the "rotten egg" odors will pass through the vent carbon filter. When you smell the odors it is time to change the carbon. We recommend noting how many months it took for the activated carbon to reach capacity and mark on your calendar for the next carbon change. The sewer vent filters will last between 1 and 5 years depending on the gas concentration coming from your sewer vent or septic vent system. For example, if you put them on a restaurant vent stack they may last 2 years. If you put them on a residence they may last 3-5 years or more. Once you have a timeline you can easily change the activated carbon before the sewer odor is present again. More FAQ's...
